I love antique embellishes but permit’s be actual, they’re hard to find and pricey when you accomplish that why no longer make your own?!!
I can’t prevent gazing them!!
I came about to have a container of vintage spindles mendacity around. But you can use antique chairs legs or chair spindles. Don’t be afraid to grab those chairs by way of tbe street!!
I picked the ones ornaments up at Wal-Mart last 12 months on clearance for $5.00 however you could find reasonably-priced ornamnts even now. Try the dollar tree or any of the greenback stores.
Paint your spindles. I used a matte chalk paint.
Then paint your ornaments. I rigged up this little drying station so I may want to paint all the sides right now.
I then cut my spindles down in distinctive sizes.
I used a drill bit to make holes for the adorns to in shape into.
I used hot glue to place the 2 portions collectively.
I drilled a miles smaller hole on the top for the hook.
0 I wrapped twine round the distance and distressed the timber a chunk.
1 I then dabbed some metallic paint at the adorns to present them a few texture.
2 I stuck a small piece of 20 gauge cord inside the hollow on top. Hot glued it in and looped it around.

4 I’d love an entire tree of those!!
