Yup, I painted my stairs..And brought a runner and I am a bit enthusiastic about the way they came out!
My timber stairs were now not bad earlier than, we had already stained them a darker colour while we moved in, but with small kids we needed to add a few traction and warm it up some with a runner.
But first, I painted them. With the runner I wanted I it failed to appearance proper with the stain colour. So I painted them. I love how much it brightens up the whole access manner.
It definitely makes the wooden tone of the ground truely stand out and appearance crips and smooth.
Plus, I simplest painted the stairs in which it would show…So if later down the line I wanted the wood again it would not be any such project to strip the complete stair.
I bought runners that I knew might fit. They are are also indoor/out of doors carpets so they would be less complicated to easy as well.
Using a staple gun, I attached it at the top then did a few staples on the perimeters and inside the returned.
What turned into left on the lowest, I cut with a application knife after which tucked it into trim.
That was it! I love the after and how shiny it’s far now!
