I visited my traditional Goodwill keep and observed this tray for $3.99. Cute, however now not my fashion. Sorry hen however you need to cross. It is time for a makeover. Read on to look what I ended up doing using simplest matters I already had within the garage or in my craft bin.
First, I spray painted it white. It took several coats to cowl up that lovely little fowl. Again, sorry chicken.
Next, in view that I am into all things coastal and nautical I determined to ‘beach this up’ beginning with this anchor stencil I had. This stencil became left over from when I refinished those bar stools. I also used left over paint from my August Thrift Store Challenge once I refinished this piece for my eating room. This blue coloration is referred to as English Channel. While I become doing the stencil I also painted the rims and aspects of the tray.
Lastly, I should have left properly enough by myself, but concept it regarded a touch plain. Back to my craft bin I went where I found this cord jute rope ribbon. Not sure why I had this or once I sold it, however obviously I knew I might use it by hook or by crook for a few challenge. This tray changed into it.
I wrapped the rope across the handles to make it look a chunk greater nautical. This rope has a twine in it so it become easy to wrap and ensure it became tight. Then I glued the edges to the tray the use of my glue gun just to make certain they stayed.
And here is the finished product. I styled it some specific methods so one can see how I will use it in my domestic. I hope you enjoy! Not bad for only spending $three.99!
